Ruthie turned 13 months old...

Last Sunday! With all the moving and stuff I did not get pictures or get a post up. I don't think I will do monthly pictures really, but will just post some from the last month. But right now I have to do this fast so that I can get a shower and get dressed and then start loading the truck when help arrives. Anyway, here are the stats for the month:

Ruthie has learned to walk as of Feb 14! She took 4 steps and has since gone up to 8 or more at a time. She still wobbles a lot, but she is getting more confident!

Ruthie sprouted another tooth and we can see 3 more coming in! Seriously, 16 teeth in that child's mouth is unbelievable to me.

Ruthie is only nursing once a day and is eating everything. She loves fruit and yogurt bites.
She still loves blowing kisses.

She still loves reading. I have peaked in to see if she is asleep and instead find her "reading" her book in her bed. It is pretty cute!

Finally, when she gets tired she just lays down on the floor and then I know it is time for a nap. It is adorable. And when she is ready for bed she does not want to be help. She pretty much leaps into the bed out of your arms if you don't put her in bed when she wants. What can I say, the child likes to sleep when she is sleepy.

This month we move to a new home. Ruthie got to live in her first house for a little over a year! This house has been amazing and we found out we were pregnant here, had our baby at this home, and now we are leaving. Updates to come after we arrive this weekend!

Happy 13 months to my sweet baby girl!

Valentine's Day

We decided to have a family night for Valentine's. We might just have a family date night every Valentine's day. It was pretty fun. We started the day giving presents. Matt gave me the complete series of "The King of Queens" and I gave him bacon flavored salt and a decal of batman to put on the back of his ipad. We gave Ruthie a set of Olivia books. The pups got stuffed conversation hearts. Then that night we went to Penn Station for subs and fries. It was our last time there so it was fun, but sad. Then we headed to Starbucks for some coffee and rice-crispies treats. Well, momma and daddy had coffee and we shared a treat between the 3 of us. Then we went home and spent the night just hanging out. Here are some pictures of our family date.

Happy Girl!

New Home

This is our new house. We do not have any pictures of the inside, but it is probably 3 times the size of our current location! it is everything we wanted from 3 bedrooms to the washer and dryer being somewhere other than the kitchen or a bedroom (it is in the garage) to having a dish washer and fridge already there. Seriously, we had a check list of 10 things and we got them all in this house. Well actually a duplex, but still awesome! We also live a few houses down from the chef at Crabdaddy's and he and his wife go to our church. There are also a few other people from the church in our neighborhood. We are so excited and as soon as we are somewhat settled more pictures will follow!

The Stouts are...

MOVING!
Matt got a  job in Brunswick, GA at College Place UMC as the student minister. He will be working with middle school, high school, and college students. We are both very excited! I'm sure Ruthie would be if she had any idea what was happening.

We are going to look for houses in Brunswick on the weekend of Feb 11 and then move on the weekend of Feb 25 so that Matt and I can have some time to unpack and settle in a bit before he begins work on March 1st.
If you live in the Brunswick/SSI area please let us know of any places for rent with at least 3 bedrooms, 1.5 baths, and allow pets. Also, suggestions on pediatricians, midwives (no pregnancy, just planning ahead), general practitioner, cable company, phone/internet service, leads on jobs for me where I can work part time (15 to 20 hrs/week) as a counselor, and any other info for the area that we might need to know once we move.

We are very excited about our move. Please pray for us as we travel to find a place to live, as we pack and move, for finding an affordable place to live, for me to find a part time job, and for Ruthie for a smooth(ish) transition.

In other news, our 1 year old is cutting 2 more teeth. For those who are counting we are one #13 and 14.
